octopora Terms of Service

The rules for using octopora, a Tunisia-based SaaS workspace operated by Achref Gallaoui.

These terms are public product terms for the current octopora demo and SaaS workspace. They should be reviewed by Tunisian counsel before production commercial launch.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using octopora, you agree to these Terms of Service and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you use octopora for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization or to use the workspace under its instructions.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account, including activity through verified email login, Google login, and any connected integrations.
  • You must notify octopora if you believe your account or workspace has been accessed without authorization.
  • octopora may require email verification or other checks before allowing access to protected features.

3. Workspaces, Admins, and Customer Content

Workspace owners and admins are responsible for inviting users, assigning roles, configuring permissions, connecting integrations, and deciding what content is added to a workspace.

You and your organization keep ownership of project data, messages, tickets, files, calendar content, repository metadata, prompts, drafts, and other content submitted to octopora. You grant octopora a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

4. Acceptable Use

  • Do not use octopora for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or privacy-invasive activity.
  • Do not upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, probe systems, bypass permissions, overload the service, or interfere with other users.
  • Do not submit content unless you have the rights and permissions needed to use it in octopora.
  • Do not use octopora to process highly sensitive, regulated, or third-party confidential data unless your organization has approved that use and the required safeguards are in place.
  • Do not use octopora or its outputs to build a competing service by copying non-public features, code, or workflows.

5. AI, Helpi, and Coding Agents

Helpi, AI drafting, speech features, backlog refinement, event rewriting, and coding-agent workflows may use third-party AI, speech, and runner providers. AI and agent outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unsuitable for your specific use case.

  • Review and approve AI-generated tickets, events, issues, summaries, code, branches, pull requests, and other outputs before relying on them.
  • Do not treat AI outputs as legal, financial, medical, employment, or other professional advice.
  • Do not submit secrets, production credentials, sensitive personal data, or confidential third-party data to AI or coding-agent features unless you are authorized and the use is appropriate.
  • octopora may log prompts, transcripts, draft payloads, run status, and token usage to provide the feature, debug failures, and protect the service.

6. Integrations and Third-Party Services

octopora may integrate with Google, Supabase, Vercel, Resend, Deepgram, GitHub, GitLab, OpenAI-compatible AI providers, agent runners, and other services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. You are responsible for ensuring that you have authority to connect accounts, repositories, calendars, agents, and other services to octopora.

7. Demo, Free Use, and Future Paid Plans

octopora is currently presented as a working product foundation and demo. Some features may be experimental, limited, disabled, or changed without notice. If octopora later offers paid plans, pricing, billing, taxes, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be published before paid access is required.

8. Suspension and Termination

octopora may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe that an account, workspace, integration, or content violates these terms, creates security or legal risk, threatens service operation, or abuses demo, trial, AI, or integration resources. You may stop using octopora at any time and may request deletion or export assistance where technically and legally available.

9. Availability and Disclaimers

octopora is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every possible threat, or fit for every business process. To the maximum extent permitted by law, octopora disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, octopora / Achref Gallaoui will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost business, or service interruption. This limitation does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.

11. Changes

We may update these terms as the product, integrations, law, or operating model changes. The "Last updated" date shows when the current version was published. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Tunisia. Unless a later reviewed agreement states otherwise, disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Tunis, Tunisia.
